Thank you for your interest in supporting our fundraising efforts for West Creek Academy. It is largely due to your assistance that our school is able to provide such a high level of education and superior programming to our students.

West Creek Academy PTA knows that an academic experience rich in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math enables students to grow into well-rounded individuals. All funds raised support programs such as:

  • MUSIC PROGRAMS ~ In collaboration with faculty and students from world-renowned California Institute of the Arts.
  • PATHWAYS PROGRAMS ~ Supports STEAM Education.
  • ENGINEERING PROGRAM ~ Offering hands-on opportunities with real-world business experiences.
  • MEET THE MASTERS ~ Hands-on visual arts history program.
  • TECHNOLOGY ~ Access to laptops and computers to deepen educational experiences with devices. Familiarize students with computer programs.
  • LIBRARY ~ New books and resources for research and enjoyment reading.
  • EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS ~ On site emergency supplies in the event of an emergency or disaster.
  • STUDENT ACTIVITIES ~ Including Field trips, Assemblies, Field Day, Career Day, Reflections, Talent Show, Fall Festival, Women in History series, and more!

Wolf Pack Fun Run

On Friday, October 4, 2019, West Creek Academy PTA will host our fourth annual Wolf Pack Fun Run to have fun and raise funds to support West Creek Academy programs and activities.

Funds raised from the Fun Run will support programs including: Music Programs, Pathways, Engineering Programs, Technology, Meet the Masters, Field Trips, Student Activities, and more!!

Students will be running and exercising their way around a pre-designed course while parents, teachers, and supporters line the track to CHEER them on!

Get your child’s Fun Run donation website set up today!

Step 1: Set up your child’s donation website on PledgeStar as follows:

    • Go to
    • Enter your name and email address, then click Register
    • Follow the instructions on-screen
      **Funds received online will automatically be split among siblings.**

Step 2: When you finish, the system will email pledge requests to your family and friends, and allows them to make secure credit card donations online. You get notified each time a pledge is made, and you can track your pledge progress online. Call 1-888-598-7510 if you need help. Remember only you and those you share the URL with can see this site.

Step 3: Have fun, watch your donations roll in and support your child’s education. If you collect checks or cash, please use the form included with your take-home packet. Thank you!

Donation page FYI: The amounts for our individual, family, and school incentives are fixed, so why does your donation page goal keep changing each time a donation is made? The PledgeStar system automatically ups your goal to give visitors to your page more incentive to donate. Donation page goals do not factor in to our incentives program.

Our goal is for each child to raise $125.
Please help and encourage your child to surpass his/her goal of $125! Every dollar counts!
NOTE: The last day to submit donations and pledges is Thursday, 10/17.

Fun Run fundraising incentives

Individual incentives:

  • Set up donation page and raise $25: Wolf Pack Participation shirt (to be received on the day of the Fun Run) & Patch Tag.
  • $75 raised: all above, plus West Creek Water Bottle.
  • $100 raised:  all above, plus West Creek Notepad & Pen.
  • $125 raised: all above, plus West Creek ‘Plush’ Wolfie.
  • $250 raised: all above, plus West Creek Drawstring Backpack.

Family (combined) incentive:

  • $325 or more raised per family: West Creek Academy’s 10th Anniversary Engraved Brick with your family name for our “Wolf Pack Legacy Path” in front of the school’s courtyard area. Ordering information will be sent home when collection period ends.

School & Classroom incentives:

  • Surprise “school wide” incentives to be announced throughout the fundraising month — you won’t want to miss them!!
Classroom participation incentives will be decided by each teacher.

Box Tops For Education collection program

WCA PTA donates funds collected from participation in the Box Tops program directly back to the school. At the end of each year the class that collects the most Box Tops wins a party (ice cream, Popsicle, or the like). The program is as simple as cutting out tabs located on the top of some of your favorite products from the grocery store and sending them in to the classroom. You can find information, a list of products, and a collection sheet here. A note to the wise: label collection sheets or baggies with teacher name for full classroom contribution credit!

Box Tops is going digital!

Box Tops for Education is changing to fit today's families. The new and improved mobile app uses state-of-the-art technology to scan your store receipt, find participating products, and instantly add Box Tops to West Creek's earnings online. Our school earns 10 cents for every Box Top submitted -- it really adds up!

Note: Some products may still have the older Box Tops clippings. These will eventually be phased out but please do continue to collect and send in any that you might have!

Fundraiser Events

WCA PTA’s main fundraiser events for 2019-20 are: the Fun Run, and the Fall Festival. Keep your eye on the What’s Happening page to learn more about these awesome events.

Book Fairs at West Creek

PTA sponsors one to two book fairs per year. Students and their families are encouraged to attend the book fair and select fun and interesting books to enrich the students’ curriculum. Teachers are given an opportunity to choose books for their classroom wish lists. Many families choose to donate books to the classrooms in their child’s name.

Just as a reminder, please make sure you are a member of our PTA. If you have not yet paid your dues for the upcoming school year, please do so before signing up. We require that only members volunteer at the Book Fair per PTA bylaws.

Spirit Wear at West Creek

West Creek has spirit! Our PTA Spirit Wear Coordinator puts together Spirit Wear collections for the whole family with ordering done twice a year. All students and staff (and parents!) can show their school spirit each Friday (our current School “Spirit Day”) by donning their Spirit Wear or wearing burgundy (our main school color). Go Wolves!

Show your West Creek Wolf pride with our latest collection of West Creek Spirit Wear! New styles are available for sale online, with selected styles from previous years on sale at Back-to-School Night at the PTA tables. Order deadline has been extended to August 27th!

Although fundraising is not the main focus and goal of the PTA, funding once provided by the state and school district has been cut drastically over the last several years. Parents and supporters of West Creek Academy PTA have stepped up to make sure our children receive the best school experience possible. PTA generally holds two fundraisers per year. In years past, we have held direct donation campaigns, a car raffle, a jog-a-thon, spell-a-thons, and an auction event. We thank all of our supporters who have contributed and look forward to continuing to provide our children with everything they need and deserve!
