2017 Wolf Pack Fun Run

Thursday, September 28, 2017 ~ during the school day

We are excited about our upcoming Fun Run taking place on Thursday, September 28th. Thank you all for your support. Here are some important things you need to know to prepare your child for the run. 


Our Fun Run is almost here! Mrs. Bett and Dr. Vehuni are issuing a Principals' Challenge to all West Creek Wolves! Imagine if every student got one more $10.00 donation. We would increase our total by more than $10,000 and pass our school-wide goal!

If we pass our school-wide goal by Thursday at 2:00PM, the class that has the largest increase from Tuesday at 2:00PM to Thursday at 2:00PM will get to "catch" Mrs. Bett and Dr. Vehuni in a super hero silly string web in front of the whole school at 9:30am on Friday morning.

 How Should My Child Dress for the Fun Run?
Parents, please dress your child in appropriate attire for Thursday’s Fun Run. This would be similar clothing to that of a normal PE day including pants, shorts, tennis shoes, etc. While we will have water available at Fun Run, please pack your child water to consume during the day to ensure they stay hydrated. Additionally, please do not forget to apply sunscreen prior to their arrival at school!

When Will My Child Get His/Her Participation Shirt?
Students will receive their participation shirts on Thursday morning just prior to their grade level scheduled run time. Please feel free to join us and watch your child participate! Remember to check in at the office prior to joining us on the field. The schedule is as follows:

8:35- TK/Kindergarten

9:35 - 5th and 6th grades

10:35 - 1st and 2nd grades

11:30 - 3rd and 4th grades

When Will My Child get His/Her Incentive Prizes?
The PTA has made an effort to distribute as many prizes as possible to our students as donations are received and recorded. We will continue to get prizes out this week and after Fall Break, if needed. Please remember the deadline for donation in order to receive incentives is Thursday, September 28th.

  • Learn more about Fall and Spring Fundraisers
    Each year, the West Creek Academy PTA holds two major fundraisers -- one in the fall and one in the spring. We have held Fun Runs, Direct Donation campaigns, jog-a-thons, spell-a-thons, and put on a gala and auction evening. Each of these events has helped raise funds needed to support our music program, field trips, library needs, maintenance needs, emergency supply needs, assemblies, and more! We thank everyone for the continuing support!
