WCA PTA has teamed up with VIMA (the organization which received the shoe donations during our Kindness Campaign as well as the proceeds from our recent Penny Wars competition) for an evening of service. Families are invited to join the founder of VIMA, Francis Kwame Agbemafle, as he shares his personal story as well as that of the orphanage that has benefited from the generosity of our community. Families will learn how to make no-sew fleece blankets which will then be donated to the orphanage in Ghana. This is an open event...come when you can. Cookies and beverages will be served.

Can't make it to the Matters of the Heart event but still interested in helping? We are collecting fleece to be used to make blankets for the orphanage in Ghana. We need polar fleece (or anti-pill fleece) approximately 1.5 yards in length. We can cut if necessary. Many stores (including JoAnn Fabrics) are currently running sales on fleece if you are interested in purchasing fleece to donate. All fleece donations should be brought to the main office no later than February 8th.
